Domiciliary

Personal care

Personal care is the provision of assistance with activities of daily living such as dressing, bathing, eating, or transferring. It can be provided by a family member, a home care agency or a professional care provider.

Short term care

Short-term care is a form of care that is generally needed for a limited period of time and is focused on delivering a specific set of outcomes such as providing support for daily living activities, promoting physical and mental well-being, or managing acute or chronic health conditions.


Live in care

Live-in care is a form of 24-hour care in which a care worker spends several days at a time living with a person who needs care in their own home, providing support with physical, personal and practical tasks.

Emergence care

Assistance or prompting to take medication and/or administration of medication and liaising with health services for GP/hospital appointment and collections/ordering of medication.

Physical Disability Support

Physical disability support is a type of care provided to people with disabilities to promote their well-being and independence. This can involve helping with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, or transferring, as well as providing assistance in accessing the community, arranging for necessary medical appointments, or helping with adaptive equipment.


Dementia

Dementia support is an individualized, professional care plan for people with dementia that focuses on providing assistance with activities of daily living, managing behaviors, and providing emotional and social support. It can involve providing assistance with medication management, helping the person create a safe and comfortable home environment, and helping them connect with community resources.

Working Night

Night care support is a type of care provided overnight for people who need assistance with activities of daily living or require medical supervision or monitoring due to medical conditions. It can involve helping with bathing, dressing, transferring, and providing companionship throughout the night.

Companionship

Companionship support is a type of care in which a caregiver provides emotional and social support to a person in need. This can include engaging in activities together, such as listening to music, going for walks, or engaging in conversation. Companionship support can be beneficial for those who are socially isolated or need assistance with activities that require two people.
